ENGINEERING

OUR IN-HOUSE ENGINEERING AND DESIGN CAPABILITY ENSURES EXCEPTIONAL DESIGN ARCHITECTURE FOR THE MOST DEMANDING MISSIONS

Our major modification programs are owed to our team of experienced and certified aeronautical engineers, and have facilitated some major world firsts in order to meet the aspirations of our clients.

Our engineering design achievements include the first ever landing of a civilian airliner in Antarctica; Supplementary Type Certification for snow skis to be fitted to a FAR25 Transport Category Aircraft; the first customised bundle drop support for the Australian Special Forces; the first re-installation and certification of long-range tanks in an Airbus A319; and introducing a new generation fixed-wing surveillance platform for Victoria Police.

AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATION

We hold design approval under CASR – Subpart 21.M. This certifies designs for modification or repair carried out to Australian registered aircraft in:

  • Aircraft Structures
  • Systems and Equipment (Mechanical)
  • Systems and Equipment (Electrical)
  • Systems and Equipment (Instrument)
  • Systems and Equipment (Radio) – Avionics
AIRCRAFT PARTS MANUFACTURING

With decades of experience, we understand aircraft manufacturing approval requirements and can produce parts for extensive modification programs under stringent quality assurance procedures.

Digital prototyping techniques streamline product development to ensure that the aircraft platform is mission ready without delay.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS

Our team of aerospace, aeronautical and mechanical engineers provide custom design solutions for all types of aircraft, from major modification projects to repair designs:

  • 3D CAD design
  • Finite element modelling
  • Aircraft system safety analysis
  • Avionics and electrical system design
  • Fatigue and damage tolerance
