WORLD LEADERS IN COLD CLIMATE AVIATION

Skytrader’s position as the global leader in cold climate aviation technology began with its development of  a retractable ski system for the CASA C212. This innovative design allows takeoffs from wheeled runways and landings on snow or ice and vice-versa. The company owns the world’s only STC (Supplementary Type Certification) for a modern technology FAR25 aircraft to perform such operations.

It is one of a number of Skytraders world firsts that have positioned Australia at the forefront of cold climate aviation technology.
